For agriculture, climate change offers both opportunities and risks, at least in the medium term. Through a forward-looking adaptation, agricultural production and other services provided by agriculture in the interest of the general public should be guaranteed in the future. The lead for measures to adapt to climate change in the agriculture sector is taken by the Federal Office for Agriculture BLW.
