The Confederation’s risk assessment completed in 2017 analysed the risks and opportunities of climate change for eight sectors. Several of these sectors have bearing on spatial development. But this was not examined as a separate topic in the risk assessment.
Important interfaces exist in particular with the sector natural hazards. Other sectors that also affect spatial development are water management and tourism. Further details can be found under these topics.
